Quintus The Sorcerer of Kali

Quintus was young only 18 years old when he was approached by a old homeless man who offered this unique and wonderful offering to him. Quintus, a eager to learn sorcerer made a huge wager that would have taken the modest possessions of the young man should he have lost, resulting in total financial destruction and quite possibly starvation as this was all of Quintus earthly possessions. His victory was beyond chance, as it was meant to be that Quintus would win this offering and later live the life that would change his world as well as many others. Quintus was summoned(more like seduced) by the ring to try his luck at winning it in a game of chance. The old man owned the ring for about a year and felt a great disconnection with it, wanted to be rid of it and desired to take the young Quintus home and belongings. The game of chance resulted in Quintus winning this unique and mysterious ring. Quintus took the ring back to his home and immediately (within a couple weeks) began perceiving visions of things and events of past, present and to come. It was the mighty India deity KALI who talked to him in his minds eye and during dreams, informing him that although she prefer and favor children and women…she would nevertheless become obedient to him, a young and potential driven enchanter. This “leap of faith ” on the part of Kali was itself remarkable as Kali is somewhat known as a out-of-control bloodthirsty deity with patience for none….not to mention a MAN. Kali helped Quintus in spells and the nature of magic, for even with the deity’s fierce demeanor did not stop Quintus from mastering the magick of this powerful being. As the great mother of India wrapped her arms around the curious and eager young sorcerer, she knew that to learn her powers would require time and much dedication. Quintus was now surrounded by the powers of protection from Kali, and he knew that this powerful deity had the ability to end his mortal existence at a moments time should he even think to cross her or show any sign of betrayal. But at the same time Quintus knew the true power over Kali should she attempt to extinguish his mortality. Quintus knew what many other sorcerers do not know… in that the true power of most deities is in their NAME!!! For he knew the name of Kali(who never introduced herself for this very reason) and how to manipulate deities should they become dangerous. So with Kali knowing this she became obedient to the master and endowed the wishes that he desired. Kali is greatly loved by the mighty and powerful Shiva who himself saved the world from the tempestuous Kali, he have seen the powers of his love…this mighty deity Kali. It is know that should a keeper possess both this and another offering that has the power of Shiva within it, that person would gain manipulation of powers that would make the person them-self a god-like being.  With this wonderful offering one will have the power of both the left hand of Kali giving the keeper influence over the minds of mortals minor deities. The offering gives the power of the right hand also evoking the powers of Mudras, as her fearless nature makes the keeper cloaked with a blanket of determination making the keeper capable of great feats and task accomplished easier. The powers of Kali are just as she is…somewhat confusing and hard to understand for she is not evil yet she is not good nature, she favors cemeteries and dark waning phase of the moon, yet she takes offerings of flowers Red hibiscus and promises to bless anyone who offers them to her. Quintus spent a couple hundred years with this offering and yet his life ended with still much to learn about this powerful being. Quintus passed this offering on to others until it ended up in the hands of a already powerful sorcerer…ABAN the mighty ancient enchanter and wizard of the desert. Aban used the powers for good and later passed it on to the hands of Isabella, where it remained part of our coven for many years.
